Becoming a wife and mother at the age of 21 seemed like a great idea at the time. I was unstoppable and naïve. Patience and planning was never a strong suit with me. I needed the former attributes to navigate life as it was dealt to me. I am proud of the life I have built and the beauty of the testimony I have and share with my family today. 

Over the years of raising children, working from home,  I qualified myself with a degree in psychology, although I preferred my 3 years training in counselling with practical experience in trauma and family counselling. As my daughters hit their teenage years, I realized my autocratic parenting style was now outdated and cause of most of our conflict. That is where I was introduced to the wonderful work of Dr Thomas Gordon and enrolled to learn effective communication. It was not easy with my stubbornness, as I always comment that it took me 3 attempts in the training. 1st I heard, the 2nd time round I understood, and only by the 3rd round when I trained with Gordon International did I fully comprehend and incorporate all the skills. That and my faith is the saving grace for my healthy relationships with my dearest husband and 3 stunning adult daughters. I fully mastered the concept of transparent communication with myself and others (*Be your Best) and in my family (*P.E.T) within the parameters of Gods love for me.  Parent Effectiveness Training was the starting blocks for me to launch into my career as facilitator of communication courses for Parents, Teachers, Women and Teens as well as expand my Life Coaching practice.
